Gliffaes is a 3 star Country House Hotel located south of the A40 in South Wales in the middle of the Brecon Beacon's National Park, between the two market towns of Abergavenny and Brecon in the valley of the River Usk. The more luxurious rooms have spectacular views across the Usk Valley, while others all look over the magnificent grounds. There is one room one the ground floor with an adapted bathroom. Travel 12 miles north on the A449 and take the A40 exit signed Abergavenny. Follow the dual carriageway (A40) for 9 miles to the edge of Abergavenny. Follow the A40 through the centre of Abergavenny, follow signs for Brecon. From the North: Take the M6 – M5. Get off the M5 at junction 8 (M50). At the end of the M50 take the A40. Turn off the A40 Abergavenny. Follow the A40 through the centre of Abergavenny, follow signs for Brecon. Cots are available free of charge. Extra beds are available for an additional charge of £23.00 per night. There are 40 on site parking spaces available free of charge.
