This hotel with 100 years long history lies in the heart of beautiful Gudbrandsdalen. Over the past years the building has undergone several ' facelifts ' and has been very well maintained. We, the Kroon family, are a Dutch family and we gladly ensure you a pleasant and welcoming stay. The Amundsen Gjestgiveri hotel lies near the centre of Vinstra and close to the major road E6 which is the way to the north of Norway (Oslo, Trondheim, Bodø, Narvik, North Cape Kirkenes). The hotel is also only a 4 minutes walk to the train station, ideally located therefore for people who are passing through by car and also well contactable with the train (have a journey time of approx 2 hours 45 minus by train from airport Gardermoen Oslo).
